We respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your HighTalk account and associated data, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your account and personal data, please send an email to:

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your username or user ID (if known)
  • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Optional: Reason for deletion (helps us improve)

What Data Will Be Deleted

Permanently Deleted Data

  • Profile information (name, bio, avatar)
  • Chat messages and conversation history
  • Uploaded media files (photos, videos)
  • User preferences and settings
  • Contact lists and connections

Retained Data (Legal Basis)

  • Transaction records (financial compliance)
  • Legal compliance logs (up to 7 years)
  • Fraud prevention records (anonymized)
  • Aggregated analytics (non-identifiable)

Data retained for legal purposes is stored securely and cannot be linked back to you.

What to expect after submitting your request

Processing Time

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been successfully deleted.

Irreversible Action

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you download any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
