Protecting Children on HighTalk

HighTalk is committed to providing a safe platform for all users, especially minors. We comply with GDPR Article 8 and UK Age Appropriate Design Code to ensure robust protections for users under 18.

Age Verification & Requirements

HighTalk requires all users to be at least 16 years old. We implement age verification to protect minors and comply with international regulations.

  • Minimum age requirement: 16 years
  • Age verification during registration
  • Compliance with GDPR Article 8 age requirements
  • Account suspension for age misrepresentation
Important: If we discover a user is under 16, their account will be immediately terminated and all data deleted in compliance with our age policy.

Content Moderation for Minors

We employ both automated systems and human moderators to protect children from harmful content.

  • 24/7 automated content filtering for explicit material
  • Human moderation team trained in child safety
  • Zero-tolerance policy for child exploitation
  • Immediate reporting to NCMEC and law enforcement when required
  • Age-appropriate content restrictions
